Throughout art history and into the present day, the framework of a personal mentorship has provided a rare opportunity for students to work individually with an established artist to address their learning needs on a one-to-one basis.

In this private mentorship experience, you will work directly with Dr. Craig Havens to identify areas of your practice – both technical and creative – which you wish to address and form a custom curriculum of project-based actions for independent study.

Custom-craft specific goals through individual personal consultation and with the practical and artistic support of Dr. Craig Havens. Projects can encompass a number of areas depending on your own personal goals. From discovering and understanding a personal vision, to building a personal portfolio book, exhibition of work, or the concept and realization of professional projects.

Structure

Sessions take place online via preferred video chat service (Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp) / Session meeting times are arranged at the convenience of the student and to coincide with fulfilling the goals of the proposed project / Total of 3 sessions / 1.5 hours each / Over the course of two to three months
