Lightroom Classic / Creative Workflow for Photographers
Summer 2026 / July 10 – 24, 2026
Adobe Lightroom Classic is the professional standard for photographers who want complete creative control over their images. This program makes Lightroom’s professional toolset accessible to everyone — guiding you step by step toward a clear, creative workflow tailored to you, regardless of your technical starting point.
This is a live, guided program where you will work personally with Dr. Craig Havens – bringing your own images into each session for direct feedback on your specific workflow questions, applying what you’re learning to your real work, not abstract exercises.
The program also includes over 20 focused video tutorials so you can learn core concepts on your own schedule and use the live sessions for personalized guidance on your specific needs. Tutorials cover every aspect of Lightroom Classic’s professional toolset – including the new powerful AI-driven features that are transforming what’s possible in post-production.
Whether you are new to Lightroom Classic or already working with the platform, the course builds both foundational and advanced skills while emphasizing creative decision-making, consistency, and a sustainable approach to post-production. Participants learn how to move from raw capture to finished image with confidence, control, and creative intention.

INSTRUCTOR
Dr. Craig Havens (PhD) is a visual artist and educator working in the lens-based media of photography, video, and printmaking with over 25 years of experience as a professional photographer, fine artist, and lecturer. Dr. Havens addresses each student individually to provide a context for their work within the larger dialogue of photographic history and contemporary lens-based arts practice. Through carefully structured sessions and individual projects, students are presented with opportunities to formulate questions whose solutions lay deeper within the creative process – developing not just technical skills, but a personal creative vision.
