Finding Your Visual Voice: Developing a Narrative Style
Spring 2026 / 4 week course / May 2 – May 23, 2027

In a focused online small-group setting, participants explore how narrative, authorship, and continuity shape photographic work over time. This course supports photographers and artists in developing a clear, authentic visual voice grounded in personal experience, sustained inquiry, and intentional practice.

Through guided lectures, discussions, critiques, and structured creative prompts, students examine what they are making, why it matters, and how to move their work forward with greater coherence and confidence.

Drawing from contemporary photographic practice and long-standing traditions of visual storytelling, the course emphasizes authorship, research, and the development of a practice that can adapt across projects, contexts, and professional settings.
